Data Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data held by SlothSphere. This page explains what data we hold, how to submit a request, what happens next, and any legal exceptions.
What data we hold
Depending on your relationship with us, we may hold the following categories of personal data:
- Name and email address (from contact forms, account registration, or project enquiries)
- Phone number and company name (if provided)
- Messages and project requirements submitted via our contact or configurator forms
- Invoice and billing records linked to your account
- Account credentials (hashed password) and login activity
- Connection tokens for Meta platforms (if you linked a Meta account)
How to submit a deletion request
To request deletion of your data, send an email to contact@slothsphere.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
Please include in your message:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your account
- A description of what you would like us to delete (e.g. all data, specific records)
What happens next
Once we receive your request:
- We will verify your identity to protect against fraudulent deletion requests.
- We will process the verified request within 30 days.
- We will send you a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
Exceptions — data we may be required to retain
We may be unable to delete certain data where retention is required by law. Examples include:
- Invoice and financial records, which Irish tax law requires us to retain for 7 years from the date of the last transaction.
- Records needed to defend against an active legal claim.
Where we retain data under a legal obligation, we will inform you of this in our response and restrict further processing of that data.
Meta platform connections
If you connected a Meta account (Facebook, Instagram, or Threads) to SlothSphere, we will delete your connection tokens and any associated data from our systems upon a verified request. However, data processed and stored directly by Meta is governed by Meta's own Privacy Policy. You can manage or delete your Meta data through your Meta account settings.
